Loves Rubberstamps Inspirational Post

It is a rainy Monday morning here but I am trying to get myself motivated for the day.  It is my turn for my Monday Morning Inspiration for Loves Rubberstamps. One cup #2 of coffee already.

Today I am showcasing an oldie but goody stamp from CC Designs called Lula Big Heart. I am loving the aqua/teal blue with yellow combo. This paper is from my stash that I had forever but I think it is DCVW.  The paper is very sparkly in person which is why I keep the embellishments to a minimum.

I colored the image with my Copics.

Copic Recipe:

Hair: E59,57,37,35
Skin: E11,E00,E000, R20
Blues: B05,04,02,000
Beige: E43,42,
Orange: YR14

I used a sentiment stamp by My Craft Spot in the center of the card and the flowers are from my Prima stash.

SOG Monthly Sketch

I have recently added to my SOG collection and decided to participate in this month's sketch challenge. The month is soon coming to an end so I better get this card up.
Now this is really some clearing of my stash since I have had these papers in my collection from CTMH for about 3-4 years...LOL!

I decided to use the technique that I saw on Rosie blog about making your own plaid outfit. A bit tricky then I thought since I do not have the steadiest of hands but happy about it overall. Made the flower from my stash of Mulberry paper and the MFT rolled flower die I have and charm is from my stash.

Final Simply Steampunk Challenges Guest DT Post

My monthly Guest DT time is up over at Simply Steampunk Challenges.  It has been a blast being a guest this month but it will not be the last of me they see over there.

Today I just decided to do a cover for a book I had.  I am trying to be better about keeping a Copic List book of different combo I like so I do not have to reinvent the wheel each time.

This is also the first time I managed to figure out how to merge two digital images together!!!! Yeah for me.
I know I am bit behind the times but I am very excited about this.

The image is called Gwendolyn.  The digital in the background is Simply Betty House of Usher Digi. I put them together and this is what I got.  What do you think?  This took sooo many colors I am did not right them down.  PS. the stars I used Crystal Stickles for. I like that effect and it is prettier in person.

Have a great day everyone and THANK YOU AGAIN to SIMPLY STEAMPUNK for allowing me to be a Guest DT.
