You're so Pretty Card for DiesRUs

Welcome back everyone to another inspiration post for DiesUs.  Olivia here and today I did to alter some of dies to create this adorable card.

I used the Die-Versions Sweet Frames-Pretty Die to surround this adorable image I colored up with my Copics.  I then cut out my Cheery Lynn Butterfly Out die but with this die, I actually cut off the end swirls and reglue them separately onto one end of the image. I then added the butterfly on the other edge of the image.

Please be sure to take a minute and check out all the fabulous dies available at the Dies R Us Store!  AND, don't forget we have a Dies R Us Challenge Blog too!  A fun new challenge is offered on the 1st and 15th of each month with a PRIZE VOUCHER offered to one lucky winner each challenge.  It could be YOU!

Dies R Us Post

Hello Everyone. It is Olivia and welcome to my first DT post for Dies R Us.  Today I decided to showcase a technique called Inlaid Dies.  As my preferred style is more CAS in nature, I thought this was a great way to create a card without too many layers but still pops of color.

For this project I started off with a colored image from Stamping Bella.  I took the image and cut it out with the Die-versions Stitched Circles.  I took the blue paper and  also cut an exact circle with that same die.  Just like in a puzzle you fit your cut out in the empty space. I cut the Die-Mensions Arrow Love This die on some matching yellow paper and cut the Love This out on the blue paper and placed the yellow die into the spot.  I did my usual coloring with Copics and then added some pearls for bling.

Thanks so much for stopping by and check back every day for more great inspiration from all the girls on the design team.

Don't forget to check out the shop and join in on the Challenge Blog.

Quick Creations-April Showers Card

With Spring being in full-effect here, I thought this was a perfect stamp to use now.  This adorable stamp from LaLa Land Crafts is called Paper Doll Marci-Spring.    The image is paired with Carta Bella paper-Soak Up the Sun.  I then used a die from CC Designs called Umbrella Die.

KennyKs Card

Each 1st day of the month, KennyK members over at Club K getting a freebie to play with. This month the freebie is this image,  DaBomb.

I colored the image with my Copics and added some stickles to the shoes. I had some wood veneers words in my stash and thought it went well with this theme.

Quick Creations- Paper Doll Marci-Birthday

Hello everyone,

I am back with another card today showcase some of the lovely images from La La Land. This one is called Paper Doll Marci-Birthday.  I used the paper from the adorable Doodlebug-Sugar Shoppe Pad Collection.

This time I decided I like the paper so much, I would use it to paper piece the image too. The hair and skin are colored with my Copics.

Art Impressions Card- Surpise!!

So later tonight, I am going to a surprise 50th Bday party. My friend is not one who is on blogs so I know I can safely showcase the card on here. I recently got a few Art Impression stamps and figured this one would be perfect for tonight.

I use some papers from my American Crafts stash and colored the image with my Copics.  Keep it pretty simple since that is more my usual style.
