Hello everyone and welcome back to our Star Stampz blog.  Thanks so much to all who played in our most recent challenge!  Our New challenge this time  is ADD A SENTIMENT!

Time for Tea Twinkle Toes

As many of my regulars know I tend to be a serial colors and just go for it. I got some time to get some of those colored images into cards.

 

I had this stamp from Whimsy Stamps by Time for Tea that I have adored called Twinkle Toes.  I decided it needed to be in a card.

 

 

 

As usual, I colored with my Copics and use some of the MME paper pad I have in stock. I kept it pretty simple. I also have these sticker sentiments for a while so decided to use some of them up too.

Quick Creations GDT-Magnolia

 

Hello everyone.  It is time for my GDT time here at Quick Creations.  This monthly I am showcasing on of the many fantastic Magnolia stamps that are available at the store.

 

This cutie is called "Happy Princess Tilda".

 

 I went for a lighter color palette with my Copics for the clothes and a different skin tone set then I usually use but I just loved how this one turned out. I went with E15,E13,E11 and R32 for the skin tones on this one.

Star Stampz First Challenge-Use Die Cuts

Today is our very first challenge for Star Stampz.  We sure hope you will come join us.  Our challenge this time around is

 

 

 USE DIE CUTS.
Our rules are pretty straight forward, and as long as you follow them, you will be eligible for the winner's prize of 3 digis of choice.  We will also have a Top 3.

 1.  Creations must be new for this challenge, meaning they must have been created and posted today or any of the days following prior to the closing of the challenge, which is Sept. 16 at 10pm EST.  Any backlinked entries are subject to removal.

2.  You must follow the theme of each challenge.

3.  You may use any images you wish, although we would love to see an image from Star Stampz Shop on Etsy, it is not required to come play along.  Your creation, however, must include some type of image - digi stamp, clip art, rubber/clear stamp, etc.

4.  You can submit any types of papercraft or altered projects, you are not limited to just cards.  In fact, we encourage all types of creative projects:)

5.  Please link to your creation for this challenge, not to your entire blog.  If you wish to receive comments from our DT, please make sure Word Verification is turned off.

6.  No limit on other challenges entered besides ours, but 3 entry limit per person on our challenge.

Hello everyone. I have always adore the images from ADFD and finally squeezed in some time to make a card with one of these lovely images. The theme over at the challenge was Add Sequin so decided to add some to her flower headband and on the corner. I also used on of my die cut doily as well and my Cheery Lynn die cut flourishes

As usual, I colored the card with my Copics and the butterflies are from these beautiful stickers I saw at the craft store.

SOG Back to School Card

Hello everyone. I had this image in my stack for awhile and figured it was time to color her up as she is just perfect for the Back to School season now. We have about two more weeks left before my girls go back but I think we are all a bit "summered out".

 

So I colored this one up with my copics and use some paper from my stash. The digi is from Some Odd Girl.

How fitting that today is my GDT day to post this month for Quick Creations Store and it is my youngest daughter's 7th Birthday.   This card is going to be the card we give her today to celebrate.

 

The paper is from Carta Bella's Soak Up the Sun paper set. I then colored the image with my Copics as usual and added some embellishments from my stash. As for the sketch layouts, I still draw a lot of inspiration from the old Deconstructed Sketch site. The stamp is an oldie but goodie from CC Designs called Cupcake Birgitta. There is also a great sale going on too on many favorite brands.

Quick Creations-Summer Fun

Hello Everyone,

It is time for my Summer GDT post for Quick Creations. This month I was able to use the adorable image from CC Designs by PollyCraft stamp, Bloom.   I colored the image with my Copics and used the great summer paper by Carta Bella, Soak Up the Sun.  I keep it pretty simple but added some adhesive dots as well.

Crafty Sentiments-Summer Theme

Hello everyone. Summer vacation is in full swing here.  This week for the Crafty Sentiments Challenge-Summer, I decided to change my creative juices just a little and do an altered upcycle piece. I have been seeing other use mint boxes and convert them into holders for earphones so I decided to do one for when we head out to the beach and stuff.

Since coffee is my favorite drink, I usually have quite the stash of breath mints on me. I took the adorable stamp, Bubbles, and colored it up with my Copics. I then used my circle Spellbinder dies to cut the image out. I then use modge podge to glue it to the front of the case. I added a sparkle gem over the starfish on the image.

Hope you enjoy this project. I now have to do a few more as my daughters want one for themselves.

Welcome everyone. Sorry for the delay but wanted to post my card I created for the Anything Goes Challenge over at Crafty Sentiments.

I am really loving some of the newest stamps release and Isobel is one of my favorite characters. As usual, I colored it with my Copics and I pulled out one of my retired stamp sets to so the sentiment for the card.

SOG Sunshine Card

The weather over here has been crazy but it finally getting sunny and hot on a consistent basis. I actually am one of those people who LOVE thunderstorms so I do not mind them rolling into town.

I have this SOG card in my collection for a while so decided to use it to create a card.

 

Isn't it adorable!!! The paper is from my stash and I believe is a combo of different companies. I decided to do the self-made flowers technique again on the umbrella and use some of my brighter colors.

 

The skin color is a newer combo I was trying with E15,13,11 and a bit of R30. I really like it and going to try it again on another image.

 

Hair is E29,27,23 and yellows are Y19,15,11 and greenish yellow are YG25,23,21

 

Yes I actually wrote them down WHOA.
