Loves Rubberstamps-La La Land Inspiration

Being that it is Monday, it is time for my weekly inspiration for Loves Rubberstamps. 

We are having a bit of a Springy type feel in Jersey with temps getting up to the high 50s though I think winter will be creeping back soon. 

I am so ready for the Spring and the wamer weather and hope it will be sticking around soon. 

In honor of that, I decided to make a summer theme card hoping to bring on some heat. 

Today I used the adorable image, Popsicle Lucy. The paper is from MME and I colored the image with my Copics.  I also used the La La Land Filigree Die for the corners which I cut on my Cuttlebug. The sun is the background is cut from my Cricut.

Simply Steampunk Challenge GDT Call

I was super excited to see that a new challenge blog, Simply Steampunk, is having a GDT call so I decided to throw my hat into the ring.  I do so love the Steampunk line offered at Simply Betty Stamps....many of them are so eeriely beautiful to me.

I would love to be on this design team since I love the images and love to color them.  We were asked as part of the call to also create a item with one of the Steampunk Images when entering the GDT call.

Today I chose to do use, Rapunzel, to create this card.

Oldie but Goodie-Greeting Farm Stamp Fun

I was recently able to get a hold of some retired Greeting Farm stamps that a few bloggy friends decided to destash since they were not being used.  I was soo super excited and stamp one of them up right away.

This beauty is called Savannah and I thought she was perfect to use for some of the current challenges going on.

Colored it up with my copics and used a bunch of scrap paper I had in my stash. Also decided to do some paper piecing on this one. The flowers are from my Prima Flower stash and the sentiment/tag is from My Craft Spot.

I had also decided to work on my different skin tones and really want to add more depth to my coloring so again I am playing around with using a charcoal pencil to add depth.

Loves Rubberstamps Inspirational Post

Happy Monday.  I have just gotten all the kiddos to school and hope to get a little crafting and cleaning time here. It is my turn for the Loves Rubberstamps Inspirational Post.

So today I decided to step out of my comfort zone and do a NOT COLORED image!!!!

Crafty Sentiments Mini-Wedding Release

Welcome to the newest Wedding Release for Crafty Sentiments.  For the last two days we have been featuring a selection of the newest wedding theme stamps. 

Today I will be showcasing one of the newest images, Tobey Groom 2.  Isn't he a doll! I am sorry for the lighting but it is non stop rain here and have not been able to get the best picture.

I decided to color up some of my favorite Sweet Pea Stamps. I am a big lover of Sweet Pea Stamps and the quality of their red rubber is great.  This lovely image is by artist Ching Chou Kuik. We have so many of her lovely images in our store and being a huge magical fairy lover I adore her work.

The paper is from MME and I used the great sketch over at Designed to Color which had a tag in it so it fit perfectly.  The sentiment is from a Karber stamp set I have in my collection.

Loves Rubberstamps Magnolia Inspirations

How excited was I when I saw the Loves Rubberstamps have gotten in some new Magnolia.  I had to get some of these beauties and color them right away. I have to admit I really do not color up my Magnolia as much as I should so I am happy to have to opportunity to do so now. 

Today I decided to use Love is in the Air. The paper is the Authenique Lovely set and add some Candi Dots from the store as well.

Inky Impressions Birthday Pop Up

Hello everyone. Olivia here with an inspirational card for our lovely Inky Impressions.  Today I decided to use this adorable stamp called Lili's Birthday Cake as a pop-up card. I did a very simple one.  The paper is from my stash and the balloons and Candle border are cut from my Cricut (Celebrations Cart). Colored the image with my Copics.

I was super lucky to be the December grand prize winner at Yumi & Fumi and got some great new stamp from them.  Isn't she sooo cute!!!!  This time their challenge is Dies/Punches and was determined to get one done with their stamps as a Thank you for their amazing prize package.  

I have this paper left from Christmas called Sweater Weather from MME and decided to use it.  The Doily type die is cut from my Cricut (it is one of the built in cartridges on the E2) and the border is from Spellbinders. I paper pieced the hat, skirt and scarf and gloves.

This beauty is called Dancing Girl. I decided to pull out my flowery green colors. Funny how we are talking about Spring as a blizzard is on it way to New Jersey.

Happy Thursday

I think I am almost all caught up with my monthly DT work so I was able to squeeze in a challenge for the fun of it.  Alicia has decided to open her own digi shop called Alicia's Little Shop and also has a challenge link.  has decided to open up her own digi shop. I know of her art from Deviant Art and from her commissioned pieces for Simply Betty so I was super excited to see her venture out on her own.

I know that the whole polaroid thing is all the rage now so decided this one would look so cute with that. This polaroid cut out is actually from a digi I had on file which I cut the image in the middle out and then pop this fab image called, Photographer Digital Stamp into it and sponged it up a bit to make it look a bit aged.

The sentiment is from a stamp set I have (Karber set) and I used MME paper set for the card.

The image with colored with my Copics and I have been trying a new technique of shading with a charcoal pencil..what do you think?

Inky Impressions Love Challenge

Anywoo, today challenge over at Inky Impressions is all about 

LOVE

Today I decide to revisit one of the newest digital stamps and create a candy heart holder for him. I went with the classic Valentines colors and added some chipboard hearts and glittery stickers to some of the hearts. 

The heart was cut from my Cricut on the Tag, Boxes and bags cartridge.  I then colored the image with my Copics/Spectrum Noirs

Reds: R 27,29, R39 (Copics)
Green: Dg 2, 4 (spectrum Noirs)
Skin : Eo2, o1, oo, oooo

Loves Rubberstamps Anything Goes Challenge

Being the first challenge of the month we are back with our favorite for most crafters, Anything Goes, here at Loves Rubberstamps Challenges. 

Today I decided to mix it up and NOT do a card. After awhile of doing the same thing, I get a bit bored so to keep my MOJO flowing I like to spice it up.

This is a 6x6 canvas frame I received in a prize package. I then stamped this gorgeous image from Sweet Pea Stamps, The Moth, on my Crafters Companion paper with some Versamark and added embossing powders and heat embossed it. 

Then I used some spritz to create the paper. I mounted it onto my canvas with Mod Podge and create a border with MME papers. 

Added bling, flowers and the beautiful die cut butterflies by CC Designs and my art piece was done.

Loves Rubberstamps Inspirational Monday

Hello Everyone. It is my weekly post time her for Loves Rubberstamps. Today I decide to make a gift card holder.  I created the pocket/tag via my Tags Boxes and Bags Cartridge from my Cricut. I used MME paper to decorate it.

Today I have used one of the new Christmas theme release stamps from CC Designs Sweet November line. Since the character is just using a present it is very versatile to use for Birthdays through the year.

Colored the image with my Copics and cut out the image and used a sentiment set I have to add a tiny tag.
