KennyKs Challenge -Flower Power

Hello everyone and welcome to the newest challenge for KennyK's Krafty Krew.  This month the theme is:

 

FLOWER POWER

 

KennyK has been also designing some great new clear stamps and I was fortunate enough to be able to play along with another of the newest clear stamp sets

 

 

As usual, I colored the image with my Copics and to stay with the Flower Power theme I used some of the great flowery paper pad I had and some flowers from the Prima Flowers collection. I also paper pieced just the pants on the stamp.

I have adore this image for quite so time so I am glad I finally got it into a card.  I am usually not one to use this color combo but I had these papers in my stash and really wanted to use them.

Time for my monthly Inspiration to showcase some of the great products over at Quick Creations. Today I am using on the adorable images from Whimsy Stamps-Wee Collection called Love Me Do. As usual, I can used my Copics to color the image.

The gorgeous paper is from Kaisercraft's, XO, collection. I framed the image with a Doodlebug Doily and added some Prima Flowers Butterfly Collection.

Spring Inspired Card

It has been a rough and cold winter over here and can not wait for Spring to come in over here in NJ. I have decided I would like to embrace other card making techniques and have been trying my hand at more CAS style cards and I have to say I love it.

This recent one is a Mo Manning image that can be found in Digital form or in stamp form from Penny Black called April.

I decided to sponge the edges of my image and then use some paper from my MME stash. I colored the image with my Copics and then added some pearls from my stash.  The sentiment is from another stamp set and the lace is from my stash as well.

Quick Creations SOG box

Time again for me to showcase my Quick Creations GDT post.  Today I am using one of the adorable Some Odd Girl stamps for an Easter project.   This stamp is called Bunny Girl Gwen. The paper I used are from the always cheery and bright, Doodlebug Collections, Springtime.

 

The box idea is from the lovely tutorials over at Splitcoast Stampers and as usual I colored the image with my Copics.

Hope you are having a great Sunday. I love my lazy Sunday and I am actually looking forward to family night tonight when we all go roller skating tonight.
