Some Odd Girl

Today I wanted to showcase another one of my favorite images called Girlfriends Kaylee & Mae. This reminds me so much of all the great fun I have with my best friend, who I have to admit I miss a lot lately due to our distance. As usual, I colored the image with my Copics.  I used some lovely Graphic 45 paper I had in my stash and some misc punches and stamps.  My goal was to match the paper with this one. 

Now I just need to get it read to send off to my friend to let her know I am thinking of her.

Winter Blues

Today I am showcasing another Greeting Farm card I made. This time I decided to color up a card. The weather had been so wacky by me and in the beginning of the week we had frost on our windows and today it was 65.  As I think winter is coming to and end, I decided it was time for me to showcase this cutie.

This is an assortment of papers from my stash which I paired with a die-cut doily and some super 3D sentiment embellishments I got on sale.

Forever Young

With this card I decided to have some fun doing some paper piecing and using two different stamps on one card.  I recently acquired a bunch of the retiring stamps from Some Odd Girl and wanted to showcase some of them.

Sometimes I set personal goals for myself to feel that I am controlling the stash versus the stash controlling me.  I decided to color up one of the stamps I had in my collection and work to finish off a paper pad. You will probably see more cards soon with this pad.

Make It Crafty Card

Hello Everyone,

I have been trying my hardest this year to get some of those images and stamps inked up and my Card Stash to be restocked. So far so good on that goal. Today I am using one of the digital images I purchased from Make It Crafty for a Birthday card.

I keep it pretty simple as usual and colored the image up with my Copics. I was working with a bit of a different skin regime then usual, E13, 11, E21 and I really like it.

I Heart Gwen Just to say Thanks

Recently I had some dear friends who have really been there to help me out. Today I decided I was going to send one in particular this card just to let her know I care and appreciate all she has done for me. 

This image, called I Heart U Gwen has been one of my favorite for some time. I colored it up with my Copics and use some items from my stash.

Tiddly Inks Card

Sometimes the good things about living in a house of sick kids is that they just want to lie in your bed with you and cough all over you. That gave me some extra time to color up some images and stay up to set up some cards.

Today I will be showcasing a card I made with a Tiddly Ink Image. I am determined to try to use every little bit of this beautiful paper pad from Graphic 45.

Some Odd Girl Facebook Challenge-Photo Inspiration

Happy New Years to everyone one out there in Blogland. I hope this year bring you much joy, happiness and crafty time.  Who is on Facebook here? Some Odd Girl Facebook Page has monthly challenges over there and this month the challenge is Photo Inspiration. Find a photo and make a card inspired by that picture. Be sure when you post over there you add both your card with a  SOG image and the inspiration photo.

I am already over this artic frost we have over here. It is only 5 degrees outside and I am wanting Spring.

Hence my inspiration card.  As usual, used paper from my stash, some Prima Flowers and colored the image with my Copics.

The first one is Brr Tia.  I am feeling that right now as the high has only been in the teens today where I live. Though I don't mind snow, this cold is just creeping into my bones. I colored this one with my Copics.

The second one is Pressie Tia.  This one is great for either the holidays or for birthdays. Love the versatility of  this image for those occasions.

Christmas Continues

What a whirlwind it has been lately. Though Christmas just came to a close, today I wanted to showcase two cards I made with Some Odd Girls images that I had to wait to after the holiday to show (did not want any spoilers).

The first one is Christmas Tree Mae.  As usual, I colored the image with my Copics and just a bunch of scraps I had in my stash that were holiday themed.

The next is from a Retired Stamp that I sure we will find in the shop in the digital section sooner than later.  The character is Kaylee and I will always adore this one.

Hey Everyone. I had gotten a number of digis that I still have not used up so I decided to give some a try so that I can add them to a card. Today, I am using one from Saturated Canary. Before she closed her online shop. She still has an etsy shop so grab some from there before she closes that at the end of the year.

I used a slightly different skin color set then I usually use (E55,53,51,50, R30) but I did like how it came out.
