Quick Creations-Birthday Card with CC Designs

How fitting that today is my GDT day to post this month for Quick Creations Store and it is my youngest daughter's 7th Birthday.   This card is going to be the card we give her today to celebrate.

 

The paper is from Carta Bella's Soak Up the Sun paper set. I then colored the image with my Copics as usual and added some embellishments from my stash. As for the sketch layouts, I still draw a lot of inspiration from the old Deconstructed Sketch site. The stamp is an oldie but goodie from CC Designs called Cupcake Birgitta. There is also a great sale going on too on many favorite brands.

Star Stampz New DT

Greeting Farm Card

Whoa. I finally decided to color up some of my other stamps that have been hanging in my stash for a bit.  This lovely one is from a set, Together Anywhere.  I decided to just use one of the images from the set and the sentiment from it.

Quick Creations-Summer Fun

Hello Everyone,

It is time for my Summer GDT post for Quick Creations. This month I was able to use the adorable image from CC Designs by PollyCraft stamp, Bloom.   I colored the image with my Copics and used the great summer paper by Carta Bella, Soak Up the Sun.  I keep it pretty simple but added some adhesive dots as well.

Crafty Sentiments-Summer Theme

Hello everyone. Summer vacation is in full swing here.  This week for the Crafty Sentiments Challenge-Summer, I decided to change my creative juices just a little and do an altered upcycle piece. I have been seeing other use mint boxes and convert them into holders for earphones so I decided to do one for when we head out to the beach and stuff.

Since coffee is my favorite drink, I usually have quite the stash of breath mints on me. I took the adorable stamp, Bubbles, and colored it up with my Copics. I then used my circle Spellbinder dies to cut the image out. I then use modge podge to glue it to the front of the case. I added a sparkle gem over the starfish on the image.

Hope you enjoy this project. I now have to do a few more as my daughters want one for themselves.

SOG Sunshine Card

The weather over here has been crazy but it finally getting sunny and hot on a consistent basis. I actually am one of those people who LOVE thunderstorms so I do not mind them rolling into town.

I have this SOG card in my collection for a while so decided to use it to create a card.

 

Isn't it adorable!!! The paper is from my stash and I believe is a combo of different companies. I decided to do the self-made flowers technique again on the umbrella and use some of my brighter colors.

 

The skin color is a newer combo I was trying with E15,13,11 and a bit of R30. I really like it and going to try it again on another image.

 

Hair is E29,27,23 and yellows are Y19,15,11 and greenish yellow are YG25,23,21

 

Yes I actually wrote them down WHOA.

Make It Crafty

Can you believe all the posts I have lol.  I am on a roll. So decided to show off this cutey I did.

The challenge for the MIC CAS team was to create your own background. So I have these stencils dies and honestly for the life of me, I can not figure out how to use them.  I thought I would give it a try but have to admit I am not loving it but I do love the way the image got colored so figured I would go with it. 

The sentiment is from a stamp set my daughter got me for Mother's Day (yes they get me small crafty presents cause they know me so well).  As always I colored the image with my Copics.

I am back again. I was on a roll with trying to get through this paper pad so I continued with this color scheme I used in my previous card.

 

I saw this awesome technique that one of my favorite coloring bloggers, Rosemary Bridges did with making your own flowers on the shirt. How did I do!!

 

Went pretty CAS on this one but I thought the image was so nice.

Greeting Farm-Add a Bow

Unfortunate for me I have been sick for the last few days, but I do find that when I can not sleep anymore, I like to just relax and color between my cups of tea and Theraflu. 

So I got a bunch of images done. I recently acquired the Roll Call Retired Kit from someone who as clearing out their stash and wanted to get work on one of these cuties.

I used the sketch from Deconstructed Sketch and decided to just add a small bow to her hair as I am not really one to use bows on my cards.  Hope you like her and see all of again soon.
