Tiddly Inks Card

Sometimes the good things about living in a house of sick kids is that they just want to lie in your bed with you and cough all over you. That gave me some extra time to color up some images and stay up to set up some cards.

Today I will be showcasing a card I made with a Tiddly Ink Image. I am determined to try to use every little bit of this beautiful paper pad from Graphic 45.

As usual, I colored the image with my Copics and purposely colored it to match the paper set I was working with. I will be using this for one of the friend's daughter party tomorrow.

Happy New Years to everyone one out there in Blogland. I hope this year bring you much joy, happiness and crafty time.  Who is on Facebook here? Some Odd Girl Facebook Page has monthly challenges over there and this month the challenge is Photo Inspiration. Find a photo and make a card inspired by that picture. Be sure when you post over there you add both your card with a  SOG image and the inspiration photo.

I am already over this artic frost we have over here. It is only 5 degrees outside and I am wanting Spring.

Hence my inspiration card.  As usual, used paper from my stash, some Prima Flowers and colored the image with my Copics.

The first one is Brr Tia.  I am feeling that right now as the high has only been in the teens today where I live. Though I don't mind snow, this cold is just creeping into my bones. I colored this one with my Copics.

The second one is Pressie Tia.  This one is great for either the holidays or for birthdays. Love the versatility of  this image for those occasions.

Christmas Continues

What a whirlwind it has been lately. Though Christmas just came to a close, today I wanted to showcase two cards I made with Some Odd Girls images that I had to wait to after the holiday to show (did not want any spoilers).

The first one is Christmas Tree Mae.  As usual, I colored the image with my Copics and just a bunch of scraps I had in my stash that were holiday themed.

The next is from a Retired Stamp that I sure we will find in the shop in the digital section sooner than later.  The character is Kaylee and I will always adore this one.

Here is to hoping that for all of you that celebrate, you had a great Holiday and Happy New Years to all.

I used a slightly different skin color set then I usually use (E55,53,51,50, R30) but I did like how it came out.

Welcome to our annual Trick or Treat with the Odd Girls!

Our hop is full of spooktacular Halloween Tricks and Treats. Don’t worry, our tricks won’t be too scary! AND, just like trick or treating for candy, you don’t want to skip any houses…or blogs in this case! Today I decided to showcase this lovely Witch image and then use some of my Distress Pads to create the background. I colored the image with my Copics and added the look of stars with my Gel Pen.

Halloween Tag

So we have a tradition here of "Booing" each other and leaving a little something for a friend near Halloween time.  So I decided to use a stamp I had from a retired collection in order to make a tag to put on my bag.  How I miss these stamps image and was so happy to see this artist start back up with CC Designs since I just love this artist style. 

Anyway, I colored the image with my Copics as usual. The paper is from my stash and I got some clearance stickers at AC Moore that I added.

I decided to color up some digis I had from Some Odd Girl and create this card for my stash.  I really adore this image and thought it would be a great one to have for those card to let your family know you care. Someone asked me the other day if I actually give my cards away and I often do to friends and family.  I try to keep a ready supply of mostly birthday theme ones so that I can easily send them out.

I was excited to be asked to be a guest designer for Outlawz challenge this week on the Twisted Thursday theme-Anything Goes with option of feather or fins. I opted to go with Fins! I colored up this new stamp I got from Whimsy Stamps!. Isn't she adorable.

This is what happens when I go through my stamp boxes. I try to declutter every 3 months but sometimes it just results in me getting distracted and excited to find the old stamps I forgot I had lol. I stamped up a bunch of Greeting Farm stamps. 

I colored this one up with my Copics. I often get asked do I pick paper first or color and 90% of the time I color first and then find paper to match which is what I did this time.

I even took out my embossing folders and my Spellbinders dies for the scallop circle behind her.

13th Birthday Card

I am still in shock that I am officially a parent of a teenager.  She is my one of my greatest joys even when she is telling me "Come on Mom, go away!!!!"  She has always been a creative soul so she appreciates my projects so I decided to make her this card.

I have been subscribing to the Kit & Clowder Art Classes so this month's class was just perfect for using for her card.  I have also had this digital stamp from SOG in my stash for awhile so thought it would be good to finally color it up. I have another one I am working on for a dear friend of mine 40th so hope to show that one soon.

Whoa...I have to tendency to color and color and not get my images on a card so today I am showcasing a recent image I colored.  This is a great stamp from Stamping Bella that I have had in my stash for a while. 

I colored it up with my Copics and left the design pretty simple.  I decided to do try to use the dotted technique to create a sequin look on the dress.  The sentiment is from another stamp set I had in my collection too.
