My kiddos Valentines'-Card in a Box

So many of you may know, my princesses are all in elementary school and still enjoy when I do a craft project for them.  Now this one involves NO Coloring and gasp not a traditional card lol.

Considering my girls are still young they still love the cutesy stuff so this was the perfect time to whip out the Cricut. All you need is for this project is a trusty Scor-Pal and what embellishments you want.

Last night I decided to the try a new technique I have been seen on the internet which is a Card in a box. I saw this on Youtube via Serene Stamper but actually prefer the written instructions for doing this which is really pretty simple. Here is the link if you want to try it yourself. http://www.serenestamper.com/search/label/Card%20in%20a%20Box

The paper pad I used was Lucky Love. I used my Create a Critter 2 cart to make the cuts that you see popping up in the middle. The stamps is from my stash of clear stamps.  My girls loved it (along with the candy they got lol)

Hope you all have a great Valentines Day.
