Loves Rubberstamps-New Years Resolution

Happy New Years Eve to most of you out there! I am looking forward to a great party at our friends house. All of our kids are finally old enough to stay up and all get along so well. The kids and us adults are excited about it.

This weeks Challenge at Loves Rubberstamps is - New Years Resolutions!

Show a card, scrap page or project that represents your New Year Resolution.  We would love for you to tell us what it is as well.

Well I have only a few Resolutions but they are pretty big ones!!

My biggest one is to try to kick up my heels and relax a bit more. I feel like I spend so much of my time running like a chicken without a head and do not stop to enjoy and laugh with friends and family enough.

The next biggest one is to live cash only!! I have to admit I have more on my credit cards then I would like so this year I plan to live cash only. Leave the cards to the dire emergencies like a broken car or something but I have put them away and hope to get them paid off this year.

Then there is the workout Resolution...trying to do at least 30 minutes a day. Got  to get back into that gym!!

My crafty one is to do more scrapbooking since I have tons of pictures and to not buy a single store card for this year!!

Well fitting with my first Resolution this is a my "Kickin Back and Relaxing" Resolution

I used one of my favorite line of stamps, My Favorite Things A La Mode Series, Martinis on Me as well as my Copics to color it.  The sentiment is actually from another company but thought it fit great.

Also want to take this time to send a HUGE hug and best wishes to one of the Best DTs I have been on!! It has been a blast and I will miss all of you greatly. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Today I decided to do something a little different and for me. I decided to alter a cell phone case, this is Samsung Galaxy Case to create a bling case for the Holidays. My focal stamp was from the Bildmarana Collection called Christmas Gift.  I colored the image with my Copics. I used the Authentique paper collective, Festive and cut it to fit. Then I mod podge the paper to the case and then cut the image and mod podge it to the paper.  I then used my trusty E600 glue to add all the rhinestones, rhinestone mesh and pearls.

Here is my tip if going to do this!!! TWEEZERS ARE A MUST and E600 glue is a very strong glue but it does not set immediately so it give you a little time to work with it.

Hope you are all enjoying your break. It has been fabulous for us, plenty of time and fun with family and friends and enjoying all the goodies "Santa" has brought us.

So don't forget to hop along and enter our challenge!!!

Loves Rubberstamps-Anything Goes Challenge.

Time for another fantastic challenge over at Loves Rubberstamps. Our monthly favorite challenge,

'Anything Goes'

is upon us.

Today I decided to showcase another layout I did.  I admit that the Fall & Winter tends to bring on some cabin fever in me and the kids so a few weeks ago I got everyone moving and we went hiking in the local State Park we have near us. Even our doggies went. The girls actually had a blast, asked tons of questions and of course got great exercise.

All the papers I used are from some lovely paper pads available at Loves Rubberstamps. I started with a 12x12 sheet of Bazzill Circus Peanut Cardstock.  I then used the Authentique Thankful paper pad in the backgrounds. The sentiments are from the Simple Stories Harvest Lane pad (another one of my favorites). The tree is actually from my Cricut Cartridge (Cindy Loo).

Monday Morning Inspirations for Loves Rubberstamps

Happy Monday everyone. Hope you have all recovered from your Turkey and Shopping. I am a big online shopper so about to kick off a Cyber Monday shopping day soon.

Today I decided to showcase at Loves Rubberstamps:
one of my favorite Greeting Farm Stamps called Do Si Do Anya.  The paper is from Bo Bunny Powder Mountain paper stack. I colored it with my Copics and I actually wrote my # down this time lol.

Skin: E15,13,11,00
Hair: C9,7,5,3,1
Dress: B18,14,12

The sentiment is actually from my large Rub-On stash I have...trying to make a dent in my supplies over here as well as the brads are from my supplies. I used my spellbinders for the image and of course some Stickle to add some sparkle.

Yumi &Fumi MONTH LONG PHOTO INSPIRATION CHALLENGE

Our DT over at Yumi & FUMI Handmade will be taking a bit of a break for December due to all the craziness of the Holidays so we decided that we would do start today with our month-long challenge is this gorgeous PHOTO INSPIRATION!!

Now remember before linking your card, please read our new challenge guidelines by clicking HERE. Don't forget that we now allow ANY stamped image!!! You HAVE to use a hand-colored image on your project...no "sentiment only" cards allowed. However, if you use a Y&FH image your name will be added a maximum of 1 extra time after the last name in Inlinkz. Remember also....only 1 entry per person.

I will admit...white scares me so I avoid it at all costs so this is why I was inspirated by the yellow scheme of it all.

I used my Cricut to created the card on the (Art Philosophy cart). The paper is from Authentique Everyday stack. I used the image Winter Fumi (one of my favs) and colored her in a yellow color scheme.  Of course I did as some paper piecing cause I just love to do it and gold stickle.
