SOG Card

I had purchased some stamp sets in the Some Odd Girl Retirement Stamp Sale and I decided to finally ink some up and use them.

Today I decided to create a scene using nearly all the stamps in this set and colored it to match the monthly theme going on at SOG challenge this month.

LDRS card

I was lucky enough to win a contest a while back with some of the LDRS stamps All Dressed Up Collection. I colored this one up and finally got it into a card.  I was feeling patriotic when I made this one.  I colored the images with my Copics and used some papers from my stash.

13th Birthday Card

I am still in shock that I am officially a parent of a teenager.  She is my one of my greatest joys even when she is telling me "Come on Mom, go away!!!!"  She has always been a creative soul so she appreciates my projects so I decided to make her this card.

I have been subscribing to the Kit & Clowder Art Classes so this month's class was just perfect for using for her card.  I have also had this digital stamp from SOG in my stash for awhile so thought it would be good to finally color it up. I have another one I am working on for a dear friend of mine 40th so hope to show that one soon.

Card-Saturated Canary

So sorry I have been so quiet for a while but the end of the year is always a tricking time..graduations, class parties, school ending but we are now on summer break so I hope to be able to post more.

I was super excited to hear that I got picked to be a Guest DT for May for Crafts & Me. The card I am showcasing is using an image by Robin Pushay called, Father's Day with Daughters.

Whoa...I have to tendency to color and color and not get my images on a card so today I am showcasing a recent image I colored.  This is a great stamp from Stamping Bella that I have had in my stash for a while. 

I colored it up with my Copics and left the design pretty simple.  I decided to do try to use the dotted technique to create a sequin look on the dress.  The sentiment is from another stamp set I had in my collection too.

Folio Notebook Holder

So I saw this awesome and pretty easy Folio Notebook Holder on YouTube by CherishUrmemories that I decided to do last night. The album is 10x7.  I received some papers and embellishments in a swap and decided to use them to create the outer cover.

On the inside, I have two mini notebooks that I covered with some Crafts & Me images. On the bottom I created a pocket for business cards and then a mini-waterfall effect and added another colored image I did from Crafts & Me. 

The other side is bare because I still need to get a notepad to put into it. Off to Walmart I go.

So one of my daughters BFFs shares my Hubby's Bday so I always remember this little girl. She is a sweet girl so I thought this image would be great for her.  It did it to make it kind of look like her too in my color scheme.
