Stamploration Guest Design Team Post-Stencil Sundays Art Journaling

Hello Everyone. It is Olivia here. I am so excited to be a guest designer for Stamplorations for the next three months. I love to create mixed media style projects and for my first designer post, I thought I would go with Art Journal pages.  Today I am sharing three different art journal pages I created that incorporate Stamplorations stencils and stamps.

First Page

Faces-Pensive

Standard Stencil-Square Links

 Row of Roses-Border Stamp

I started off using some of my Mica Powders to create the blue background. I used the Square Link Stencil with some texture paste to great more texture and finished it off with stamping the roses and then the Faces Pensive stencil. Over at my Youtube channel you can see how this page came to be.

The Second of my Art Journal pages

Onions in Raw Stencil

Shower of Flutters Stencil

Winter Flowers Stencil

Bubble Dance Stencil

I was still feeling like staying in the blue family but this time decided to add some rust colors and shades of blue. I also used some rice paper that I colored via my gel plate. You can see how I created my own rice paper design at my Youtube channel here and how I created these two pages.

The Third Art Journal Pages

Bloomdalscopic 5

 All Blooms Stencil

The final journal pages are in true mixed media form as I had placed some freezer paper under some cards projects I was working on and loved how all the colors merged together and decided to create some pages from the freezer paper themselves.

I hope you enjoyed these projects and I look forward to sharing the cards I have planned for next month's Guest DT post.

Fairy Hugs Wild Leaves-using a single stamp to create a background

It is me, Liv, and today it is my turn to share my most recent project with you. Please become a follower by signing up in the side bar!  If you would like to get the Fairy Hugs Store newsletter via email with updates please visit the Fairy Hugs Store and sign up using the pop-up Window.

For the card I decided to go into a totally different direction and use the stamp to create a background for the card.  I stamped out the Wild Leaves images multiple time and then used my die cuts to cut a center square and then pop it up with foam tape. I am still loving these fall colors so I went with that color palette.  I then added splatters cause I am like obsessed with splatters lately and inked the edges and tada it is complete.

Hope you all enjoyed this card. Now this one was fun to experiment with. I had purchased blank rice paper and decided use my Prima Bloom Sprays on it.  Once I did that I stamped on it with Black Pigment Ink and used Embossing Powders to make stand out. For the stamps, I used MoanaFantasy FlowersMini Frog in the background of the stamp-Stream Scene . Since it was Rice paper, just used some decoupage glue. The glue was a glitter glue so added a great touch for the piece.

Fairy Hugs Card- All you need is Faith

For the card I decided to go into a totally different direction. First up I created this background using my Lindy Gang magical mica powders.  After it dried off I stamps the images from Fantasy Flowers, Wild Leaves and Moana images multiple times.  I thought the stickles in the wings added a nice touch and then added a sentiment from my stash for the card.

Hope you all enjoyed this card. Mixed Media-Fairy Hugs Card

For the card I decided to go a very mixed media style card.  If you are interested in knowing how this all came together come take a peek at my Youtube channel, https://youtu.be/nRdl7tcM9Es,
ORM CraftyDesigns, for all of the details.  I used my Gel Plate to make the background. The paper is some Black Mixed Media paper I recently purchased to play around with.  Can you tell I have a thing for the Wild Leaves stamp.  I thought the stickles in the wings added a nice touch and then added a sentiment from my stash for the card.

Hope you all enjoyed this card. Fairy Hugs- Memorydex Card

Welcome  to the Fairy Hugs Store Blog. Today, it is my turn to share my most recent project with you. Please become a follower by signing up in the side bar!  If you would like to get the Fairy Hugs Store newsletter via email with updates please visit the Fairy Hugs Store and sign up using the pop-up Window.

Here is my first Design Team project for you to enjoy. It is a Memorydex card using the Net Stamp, Sea Turtle-Raphael, Sea Horses, Glitter and Coral Reef paper.  My first step was to cut the shape out with one of my dies using the Coral Reef paper.  Next I stamp the Sea Turtle, Raphael, and Sea Horses out on white cardstock and fussy cut them. You can't go wrong with glitter so I added Fairy Hugs Ocean and Bronze Glitter to the shell and seahorse. I did a bit of background stamping with the net and popped up the animals with foam tape and tada my memorydex is done.
