Magnolia Spring Plaque

It is feast or famine on here huh lol. I am back again for another post for my Scrapyland GDT post.

Today I decided to do a Welcome Spring Plaque. I got the wood plaque at the craft store and went to work.

Again I used my Mod Podge for this project. The paper is from Echo Park Beautiful Life except  from the Rosette which is from my stash.  The wording is also from the sticker set. I did paper piecing on Tilda outfit which is the stamp Tilda with Daffodils. Again used my Copics for everything else in the coloring. The flourishes on the side are from Die-Namies Floral Corner.

Thanks for stopping by again for another visit here. Don't forget to stop by Scrapyland's Mega Crop Weekend starting on Friday for some fantastic prizes.

I will be adding this project to a few challenges:

Phone Case-Sweet Pea Stamps

Hey Everyone. It is Olivia here. Super excited to showcase a 3D project I did for Sweet Pea Stamps.  This is my own personalized phone case I made for myself using Ching Chou fantastic image-Dark Lilies. This image can be found in rubber or in digi.

I have spring on my mind and thought a bright and sparkly case would be perfect to just welcome it in and celebrate the season.

Here is how I did it. First I colored my image on a separate paper.  I then used a clear blank phone case (I order my online from Ebay since I love to make these). My first step was to paint it with acrylic paint and then let it dry. Once dry I used Mod Podge to add the sparkle.  Once that layer is dry, I applied the image via Mod Podge. It takes about 2-3 coats to make sure it is adhered good and you need to wait between each layer (about 10-15 minutes between layers).  Then I added another layer of sparkle on it.

My final step was the embellish around it with various gemstones and rhinestones I have in my stash. I just go crazy here and add them were I feel like it. I used E600 glue to add the pearls and rhinestones.

So there you have it! A fantastic personalized case that is one of a kind and with these gorgeous images can be suited to your taste and style.

I will also be entering this one into the following challenges:

Magnolia Card

Happy Monday Everyone.  Today I am showcasing a recent card I made for Scrapyland as my April GDT card.

Scrapyland has a fantastic selection of Magnolia stamps so I knew it would be perfect to pick one and use it in my card.

This image is called Tilda with Little Pockets from the With Love Collection. I colored the image with my Copics. I did go a little darker this time as I am still experimenting with my skin tones. The image is cut out with my Spellbinders. The paper is from Teresa Collins She Said Collection.  The sentiments is actually a digital sentiment from Tiddly Inks and I created the tag on my Cricut.

My April GDT time is soon coming to a close but not before we go out with a bang for National Scrapbooking Day this weekend. Hope to see many of you over there.

Hey everyone,

I am back again with another layout.  Today I decided to feature one of the school pictures I have of the "middle one" who complains she does not have as many pages as her sister soooo lol.

The paper is from Teresa Collins-She Said Collection. I had a bunch of scraps left from the last couple of projects and saw this layout online and thought it would be a great fit.
I also threw in some buttons from my stash.

My first Project LIfe style page

I know I am so behind the times but I see everyone talking about this PL stuff and decided to make my own style PL layout with some Halloween pictures from this past Halloween.

I really am enjoying it and can see why so many people love the quickness and simplicity of it.

For this set, I used the Doodlebug paper set, Happy Harvest Set. I decided to use this since my kids are not really into scary costumes as you can tell and thought it was festive and matched well with their costumes. The embellishment are from my stash though.

How do you think I did lol? May be popping by with a few other quick ones of these to capture some of those great memories and hopefully not take a year to do it.

I colored the images with my Copics and went all bright and cherry on it. I just started using this beautiful paper for stamp on, Cryogen White, and it is so nice.  It is definitely worth a try.  The paper is from my huge stash pile. The flower I made myself via the Cricut Art Philosophy Cart.

Soccer Layout

I am back with something I have missed very much...a Scrapbook Layout page. My kids just love looking through the pages I make and I have fallen behind. Spring Soccer starts this week and figured it is about time I made an attempt to scrap last Spring Soccer picture season.  I have another page to do for my middle daughter but managed to finish this one of my youngest.

There is a variety of Cricut die-cuts here. The soccer ball/Kick this is from the Soccer Cart, the star border is from Storybook and the banner from First Few Years.  The Title is from a swap I received and think she has a Cameo so not sure where she got that one from.   The paper is a variety of stash papers I had in my possession (CTMH, DCWV and some stickers from Echo Park).

The layout is inspired by Grand Diva Creative Corner though I did alter some of it to fit the pictures I have but hopefully you can still get the original inspiration from the sketch. I will be entering this one into the following challenges:

GrandDiva-based on sketch
Scrap Our Stash-Hats and or Triangles (triangle banner and the bottom are large triangles.
Cut it Up Challenge-Anything Goes
Loves Rubberstamps-Use your Ugly Paper (not really a blue and orange fan but it went well with the uniform)

PS...here is a helpful tip if you use GIMP to edit your work. Since some of my shots may contain other people then my children I go to transform and select the area I want to blur via ellipse or rectangle. Then I go to the Filter tab and hit on the blur section and hit pixelize and it will blur your selected area. Hope that helps so you can show off all your pictures.

Have a great day.
