TGF-Color/Photo Inspiration

Happy Tuesday.  Sorry for the sporadic posting but life is actually running pretty smoothly but busy over here. I saw the recent challenge over at The Greeting Farm and decided to ink up one of my retired images I have in my collection. This one is 80s Anya....isn't she a cutey.

I used the MME paper from my stash and my MFT dies to make the arch that Anya is in.  The sentiment is from my sticker stash I have. Of course the image is colored with my Copics thought this was the last card I made with my old E11 which I have put to rest since it keep globbing up on me. I tried to clean them but to no avail so had a Hobby Lobby trip with a coupon to get a E11. I also used the lovely and sparkly paper, Cryogen White, that I won via the CMC challenge from Paper Temptress...now this paper I am liking.

I will be entering this one into the following challenges:

My kiddos Valentines'-Card in a Box

So many of you may know, my princesses are all in elementary school and still enjoy when I do a craft project for them.  Now this one involves NO Coloring and gasp not a traditional card lol.

Considering my girls are still young they still love the cutesy stuff so this was the perfect time to whip out the Cricut. All you need is for this project is a trusty Scor-Pal and what embellishments you want.

Last night I decided to the try a new technique I have been seen on the internet which is a Card in a box. I saw this on Youtube via Serene Stamper but actually prefer the written instructions for doing this which is really pretty simple. Here is the link if you want to try it yourself. http://www.serenestamper.com/search/label/Card%20in%20a%20Box

The paper pad I used was Lucky Love. I used my Create a Critter 2 cart to make the cuts that you see popping up in the middle. The stamps is from my stash of clear stamps.  My girls loved it (along with the candy they got lol)

Hope you all have a great Valentines Day.

The paper is from Authentique Lovely Collection and used a rubon from my stash for the Sentiment. Colored the image with my Copics.

Yumi and Fumi-Birthday Celebration for Renate

    Surprise Renate!

Today all of the former Yumi & Fumi DT team and a few other friends decided to have reunion to bring this birthday banner to our lovely Renate.

Each of us has a letter of the banner we have done.

    I got the letter B

Used my handy dandy Cricut for all the banner cuts.  The paper is from Simple Stories paper pad.  Colored the stamp with my Copics and add a place of paper piecing into this one.

All the banners have been sent out to Renate so I hope she gets to hang it with pride.

Hope you all enjoy the banner hop.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I will also be entering this lovely creation into the following challenges

    Some Odd Girl-Valentines Love

Hello everyone. I managed to get some cards done since I am snowed in again. Uggh a nasty winter storm, kids are running around and I finished up some cards.

Today I wanted to showcase one I had before the big Vday tomorrow from Some Odd Girl.

This beauty is called Love Letters and is a digital stamp from Some Odd Girl.  It is actually on sale for V-day if you want to go and snag yourself one (yes I know I am an enabler lol)

Again trying to finish up and use my stash so got out my Authentique Lovely Paper Pad for the background.  The filigree are from the La La Land dies and sentiment is from my rub-on stash. I misted the doily with some spray as well as the paper behind it too. Colored the image with my Copics...I really love coloring red personally though I know it is a challenge for many.

    Sweet Pea Stamps

Since I was digging though my stamps the other day, I found this one and decided to ink it up and color away.

The paper is from my stash and a mix of companies (Authentique and Echo Park I think). Used my Spellbinders to make the frame around the image. So I bought this new Copic paper from Hobby Lobby.  It is super thin and though it is very bright and does not bleed I am not happy with how thin it is so that the pattern papers can been seen through it. Ok done venting but since I bought I am going to use it and figure out the best way to use it next time.

Also pulled out some of my bling from my stash.

I will be entering this one into the following challenges:

    FairyTale Challenge-More than two colors
    Sister Act-Anything Goes
    Southern Girls-Bling Bling Bling
    Creative Moments-Add Some Sparkle

Hello Everyone! Decided to try something new to keep my creative juices flowing. I made this card with a Sweet Pea Stamp image by Helena Reis's Joy is...A Basket Full of Cats

Decided to see if I can pull off a card in just shades of Grey with a touch of Blue in the hair! Well how did I do?  I did the pattern of the dress myself and the sentiment is from my sticker collection. Used half a doily I had too.

Welcome another winter storm has come our way here in Jersey and kids have another snow day. We are expecting about 8-10 inches and it is still falling.

Well one this day I figured I would get a card done to starve off the cabin fever.

Today I decided to use one of my CC Design stamps and this lovely Fancy Pants paper I got at Hobby Lobby with my Christmas Gift Card.
    .

Stamped the image with my Memento Ink, Colored it with my Copics and added some embellishments from my stash. The sentiment is actually from another stamp set I have.

    Sugar Pea Designs Card

I was fortunate enough to win a gift certificate during the Grand Opening Festivities for Sugar Pea Designs. I purchased the Bushel and Peek set and designed to make this card with it.

Now who wants to guess what I was eating when I colored this at midnight lol??? You got it... my BIGGEST weakness during this time is Conversations Hearts. I can set like 4 packs s day and my hubby gets me the big bags at least once a week when they are in the store.

I used my Simple Stories paper pack with this.  Colored the image with my Copics and actually picked the paper first this time so it is colored to match the papers.

I will be entering this one into the following challenges:

I am not really a Clean and Simple person so it took a lot for me to just come up with this one.  The temptation to add more is sooo strong for me. I used one of the Sponsor's Image, Freya's Cupcakes.

I colored the image with my Copics and had to add some liquid pearl on the cupsakes.  The sentiment is actually from my There She Goes sets.  The paper is MME from my large stash of that.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges as well.

    Valentine theme Card

Look I did not even give you enough time to miss me again this time lol.  Here is the second card I created last night.

This time I delved into my A Day for Daisies collection that I love. This image is just so pretty to me and I decided it would be a beautiful card for Valentines.

I used my MFT dies to create the lace border behind the image and my Spellbinders for the oval shape of the image. The paper is from my MME paper stash.

Colored the image with my Copics, I think I actually wrote them down this time

    Skin: E02,01,000,0000, R2
    Hair: E29, 8,9
    Dress: R89,85,83,81
    Birds: R29,27

The sentiment is actually a rub-on I have had in my stash so glad to finally use it.

Hello everyone! How are you? Sorry for neglecting my blog lately but have been battling colds and frigid temps here. I finally got myself in gear and made two cards last nights.

I made this one for the Make It Crafty Aussie Day Challenge on their facebook page as well as for the Make it Colorful Challenge easy change. I decided to just do the blue and yellow combo challenge.

Used the Fancy Pants Park Bench color pad and colored the image with my Copics. The sky is a combo of my Copics and sponging with my ink pads. Both of these images are currently on sale till the end of the month in honor of Australia Day that just past.

Today I am using this adorable image from Kraftin Kimmie called For Someone Special by Rachel Ann. Isn't she adorable. I still had a brand new paper pack from Christmas I did not use so decided to use that one too.
