Corrosive Challenge-Pearls and Lace

Hello everyone, and welcome to another Corrosive Challenge!  After coming down from our last challenge with a lot of Sentiments (ha, ha, ha) I thought it would be nice to have this challenge.  You know, not too much thought going into it, kind of like an anything goes challenge.  Well, let's just "Pearls and Laces".

I created this card with one of the gorgeous images from Aurora Wings called Mermaid Wish. I decided I wanted to experiment with some unique skin tones on this one with my Copics.

Sweet Pea Stamps Final Farewell

So I recently heard that one of my favorite stamp store owner is closing their shop. Sweet Pea Stamps has been a favorite of mine for many years and I am saddened to see it go.  Many years ago, I as fortunate enough to be on the Sweet Pea Stamps DT and to work with Lynette (who is such a lovely person).  I was unable to get a new card done for this hop but I figured I would do a post with some of my favorite cards I made with a Sweet Pea Image over the years.

Thank you for all the fantastic years of service Lynette. It was a pleasure being a customer and on the DT for a brief period of time. Wishing you all the best in the future!!!

Quick Creations GDT post

Welcome back to my monthly Guest DT post for Quick Creations. This month I had the pleasure of using one of the fantastic Magnolia Stamps.  I have always been a sucker for the Maggies and was so excited to showcase one for everyone today.

This stamp is called Swirly Tilda and is from the "Waiting for Christmas" Magnolia collection. I paired up the image with the Doodlebug Paper Collection, SugarPlums. As usual, I colored the image with my Copics and used some stickle to enhance the stars and parts of the dress on the image.

I decided to color up this great stamp called Delicate Flower from the Lollipop Dreams Collection

 

 

I used V9,V6 and V4 with some Liquid Pearl to add the Pearls to the dress and the center for the flower.
