Sugar Pea Designs Card

I was fortunate enough to win a gift certificate during the Grand Opening Festivities for Sugar Pea Designs. I purchased the Bushel and Peek set and designed to make this card with it.

Now who wants to guess what I was eating when I colored this at midnight lol??? You got it... my BIGGEST weakness during this time is Conversations Hearts. I can set like 4 packs s day and my hubby gets me the big bags at least once a week when they are in the store.

I used my Simple Stories paper pack with this.  Colored the image with my Copics and actually picked the paper first this time so it is colored to match the papers.

I will be entering this one into the following challenges:

SugarPea Designs-Anything Goes with a SugarPea image
Deconstructed Sketch-based on their sketch
Sweet Pea Stampers-Valentines/Love
Aud Sentiments-Share the Love
C.R.A.F.T-Love

Totally PaperCrafts-Clean and Simple

Welcome to another challenge for Totally PaperCrafts.

Now, on to this week's challenge which was chosen by Chitra is:

CAS (Clean And Simple)

This weeks fabulous sponsor is

I am not really a Clean and Simple person so it took a lot for me to just come up with this one.  The temptation to add more is sooo strong for me. I used one of the Sponsor's Image, Freya's Cupcakes.

I colored the image with my Copics and had to add some liquid pearl on the cupsakes.  The sentiment is actually from my There She Goes sets.  The paper is MME from my large stash of that.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges as well.

Valentine theme Card

Look I did not even give you enough time to miss me again this time lol.  Here is the second card I created last night.

This time I delved into my A Day for Daisies collection that I love. This image is just so pretty to me and I decided it would be a beautiful card for Valentines.

I used my MFT dies to create the lace border behind the image and my Spellbinders for the oval shape of the image. The paper is from my MME paper stash.

Colored the image with my Copics, I think I actually wrote them down this time

Skin: E02,01,000,0000, R2
Hair: E29, 8,9
Dress: R89,85,83,81
Birds: R29,27

The sentiment is actually a rub-on I have had in my stash so glad to finally use it.

Make It Crafty Post

Hello everyone! How are you? Sorry for neglecting my blog lately but have been battling colds and frigid temps here. I finally got myself in gear and made two cards last nights.

I been playing around with merging digital images and decided to enter into some of the fabulous contests that Make It Crafty are currently having.
I made this one for the Make It Crafty Aussie Day Challenge on their facebook page as well as for the Make it Colorful Challenge easy change. I decided to just do the blue and yellow combo challenge.

Used the Fancy Pants Park Bench color pad and colored the image with my Copics. The sky is a combo of my Copics and sponging with my ink pads. Both of these images are currently on sale till the end of the month in honor of Australia Day that just past.

I will be entering this one into the following challenges:

Make It Colorful-blue and yellow
Crafty Boots-Sunshine

Yumi and Fumi Handmade Challenge-Sketch Challenge

Welcome back to Yumi & Fumi Challenge.  Time for us at Team Yumi to show off some of the wonderful products we have at Yumi and Fumi.  This time I am super excited to see one of my favorite kind of challenges

It's a Sketch.

This wonderful sketch is by Leanne. Don't forget that we now allow ANY stamped image!!! You HAVE to use a hand-colored image on your project...no "sentiment only" cards allowed. However, if you use a Y&FH image your name will be added a maximum of 1 extra time after the last name in Inlinkz. Remember also....only 1 entry per person.

Today I am using Yeti Fumi and decided to alter it a bit to follow my card theme of Valentines. So I covered the lights with a string of metallic hearts that I got in a Christmas present from our lovely Renate.  The paper is from an very old K & Company paper pad I have had for a least a year. Use some Tulle

Card with Accordion Folding Tag on it-Yumi & Fumi Style Inspiration

Happy Thursday. It is my turn to do an inspirational post for you on Yumi & Fumi Handmade.  Today I am showcasing a cute Accordion Tag Folded Card I saw on Youtube. This is a new technique for me and love how it came out.
Here is the outside of the card.  I used the adorable image of Yumi with Bookbag. I cropped part of the image out with my Spellbinders. The card base is your typical 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 size card.

The addition is the mini accordion book that I added on front.

Here is the what the mini accordion folds look likes opened up.

To make the tag book

-3 1/2 x12 piece of card stock
-score  at 3, 4 1/2, 6, 7 1/2 and 9 inch marks
-decorate your outside panels as you wish- my large panels were 3x 2 and my inner panels were 1 3/8x 2 5/8.

The inspiration for this tag original came from Catherine Pooler-a  Stampin up rep with some great variety of tutorials on her site.

You can write little message on there or even tape a gift card or something onto the front.

Supplies used were
Copics
Spellbinders Circle Die
MME -Lucky In Love Paper
Recollections Ribbons

I will also be entering this card into the following challenges:
