I did my card based on the color scheme and the plaid on the shirt. I used the stamp, Honeybee, by Whimsy Stamps via Elizabeth Bell.  I used a great gatefold card tutorial I found via Some Odd Girl Blog.

Colored the image with my Copics and Spectrum Noirs.

Hurricane Sandy has not been good to me here. My huge oak tree just crashed into my house..thank goodness it has not gone through the roof...yet!  I am hoping it holds off since no one will cut the tree down until Wednesday. Lost power too so kinda freezing but no flooding over here! Thank goodness for wireless and a minivan with an outlet to recharge everything...except my fridge but I hate cooking anyway...haha.

Loves Rubberstamps Monday Inspiration

I do so love the Greeting Farms Bean line and was super excited to get my hands on this beauty to use, Shimmer Bean. I decided to use some of my other colored inks to change the color of the items that surround the fairy image but I use my Memento ink on my image.  I also used the CC Designs butterfly dies.  I made another ribbon flower. I apologize that I created this card and forgot to write down all my color combos I used.  I did use my copics and the blues are B00,B2 with a bit of B5.  Skin is E11, E2,E01, E000,E000. Forgot the hair combo though...sorry.

Hope everyone is staying safe. Yeah for prescheduled posts.

Loves Rubberstamps Challenge-Get Your Spook On

Another fabulous challenge day here at Loves Rubberstamps Challenges. With Halloween fast approaching it is very appropriate for us to enter into this weeks challenge theme

This week's challenge is:

Get Your Spook On - It's Halloween!

Show us your spooky, scary, icky...or if that isn't your style...just too cute to spook Halloween projects!

Of course I went cute.  I got this adorable stamp from Belle and Whistles called Little Witch with Broom.  This cutie is in the store but remember to make sure you snatch up your B&W stamps since they have closed their doors.

I colored the image with my Spectrum Noirs.  Used CG1, CG2 for the dress. The purple is LV 2,4 and the Pumpkins are CR 8,10.

The paper is from the Martha Stewart pak I had and the lovely flower is another of those ribbon flowers I made with my slowly dwindling ribbon collection...my tip for the flower use a hot glue sparingly and glue on the inside away from fingers...if you are lucky like me you will only get burned once LOL.  The sentiment is from My Creative Time Holiday Stamp set.

I will be entering this card in The following challenges:

Party Time Tuesdays-Halloween
Tuesday Throwdown-Halloween

Hallowedding Card-Simply Betty Stamps

Many years ago I meet a dear friend, Suzy, through our volunteer work. Both of us foster puppies for a local rescue in NJ, Luv Furever Animal Rescue, that rescue dogs from high kill shelters in North & South Carolina, West Virginia and Georgia.

I was so excited to hear that she will marrying her partner. Since both are die-hard Halloween lovers, it was appropriate that they decided to have a Halloween wedding.

I wanted this card to be a bit spooky but loving too so this is my creation.  This is actually a digi from Simply Betty Stamps.  I took one image and flipped it so that they were facing each other.

The image was colored with my Copics/Spectrum Noirs.

Dress: Spectrum IG 1,2,4
Brown Hair: E25,27,23,21-Copics
Yellow Hair-CT1,2,3 (Spectrum Noirs)
Skin-Spectrum Noirs IG 1,2 and a touch of B000 (Copics) to give it the bluish tint

All of the materials are from my extensive stash.  I cut the webs via my Cricut. The Sentiment is actually from their wedding invitation and the heart is chipboard which I just sponged and added a webbed rub-on on it.

I will be entering this on into the

Loves Rubberstamps Morning Inspiration

Hello Everyone,

Happy Monday!  As always my Inspiration Post for Loves Rubberstamps falls on this lovely Monday.  It has been quite the weekend here...started off with my dog chasing after a skunk and getting sprayed which took many of baths in many different homemade varieties to dullen the smell, then him hurting his tail so trip to the vet.  Then two Soccer games, a girl scout trip and then a church picnic.  I am wiped out from this weekend so today is more relaxing with all the kiddos in school and being able to catch up on housework.

I have dipped into my Stamping Bella stash and created this card for you. The stamp is from the Uptown Girls Collection-called Molly Makes a Detour. Paper is from MME.  I used my CTMH stitching stamp set for the stitching.  Flowers are from my stash.  Colored the image with my Spectrum Noirs and Copics combo.

Kraftin Kimmie Anniversary Challenge

Oh mine...I am soo not sure if I will get into all three challenges but I had to try for at least one. Hope to get some craftiness done tonight when the little ones are sleeping.

I really adore the Moonlight Whisper lines and their Christmas ones are some of my favorites. This is an older image called Christmas Clara. I used some Christmas paper I have had in stash but not sure which company..though think it is from a K&Company set from last year and decided to do some paper piecing.  This time I colored the image with Spectrum Noirs only.

Hair: TN 2, 7,8
Skin: FS2,3,TN2 and a touch of PP1 ( and I also dotted it with TN7 and then colored over it to dullen the freckles).

Starting my Christmas gift items

I am working really hard to not fall behind this year and get something handmade for each of my daughters teachers before Christmas. I have to make for 7 people so I really do not go too crazy but generally do a small gift card with some candles or chocolates or something like that.

A close up of the image itself
My first one I got done is this bag.  I got a set of 5 (so yes you will see more of these) and stamped one of my fav Mo Manning Images via Penny Black. I used my Memento Ink and colored with my Copics and used some Gold Stickle.  I plan to fill these with some treats and a gift card for Dunkin Donuts! Yeah one teacher down...now 6 more to go.

I will be entering this into the following challenges:

SBS Day 1 Halloween Submission

(so you can see the Treat Box better)

I am going to be participating in the 13 days of Halloween Challenges that Simply Betty is hosting.  The first day is to create something for a child.  I used my Art Philosophy Cricut Cart and cut this treat box out at 6 inches on a double side pattern paper I had in my Stash by K&Company. I then stamped my Simply Betty Stamp called Little Pumpkin Lilly and colored it with my Copics. This is a like a quickfire contest so you only have like 2 days to get each done so I admit I did not write down what colors I used.  I fussy cut her out and used some Echo Park embellishements from my stash.

I will also be entering this into the following challenges

1)Anything but a Card
2) Clear It Out-Use Purple, Black and Orange

Loves Rubberstamps-All About Autumn

It is Tuesday Morning so that means it is time for Loves Rubberstamps Weekly Challenge.

This week's challenge is:

All About Autumn

Make a creation that is inspired by these Fall Words!

Today I am super excited to get a chance to ink up and use the newest Saturated Canary stamps released by Little Darlings. I was soooo excited when I heard the news and I had to get them.  I love the size of them for those who may have been worried about that...great stamps to color.  I used Autumn

This would be another card that would get Laura interested in my Cricut :-)!  I used a border frame from the Winnie the Pooh Cartridge to great this cool leaf border behind the image. I sponged the leaves and cut the tiny leaves from the same cartridge at 1 inch.  I got this Burlap at AC Moore and put it behind the image to add some texture.
This time I used my Copics & Spectrum Noirs to color the image.

Hair: E7,9,19
Skin: E53,51,50 (touch of E93 to cheeks)
Browns: Spectrum Noirs GB 8,10
Greens:  Spectrum DG 2,4
Orange/Yellowish: Spectrum CR 8,10, 11
Edged with E 43 from Copics
and just brush the background lightly with C1,3 to get the feel of grey skies.

I can not wait to see your gorgeous Autumn entries over at Loves Rubberstamps Challenge. She has a great prize for her store and a sponsor prize too!

Secret Pumkpin Hop

Welcome to October 1. To celebrate the start of the favorite season over at Simply Betty Stamps...Betty organized a fabulous Secret Pumpkin exchange (same as a Secret Santa but for Halloween theme items).  Today is the day to showcase our goodies we received from our secret pumpkin.   You should have arrived here from checking out Veronica's lovely stash and  I am soo excited to show you the loveliness I received from Ashley who I hear is a bit busy right now doing that whole delivery baby thing!!! Yeah to her. I love my October baby.

This is how it came in the box!
This is all the goodies inside

She also made these adorable headbands for my girls...I can only get my "Diva" to model it so here is a picture of that (ignore the crafty mess in the background...I have been thrown to the basement so no one sees my mess :-)!

This is the handcrafted pumpkin case she made for me filled with candies!
This is her card for me using Betty custom Secret Pumpkin image

This is the inside of it! Isn't it great.

I hope everyone is enjoying the hop and off you go to see the goodies that our dear Celina got.
